Inclusion and diversity are at the heart of our business.

Belong is a non-profit organization that builds bridges between new and established Swedes. We create conditions for people with different backgrounds to enter the labor market, participate actively in society and improve their living conditions. We do this through mentoring, meetings and training. We also carry out advocacy work and opinion-forming to engage more people in the work for increased integration.

Our work is needed today more than ever. The social debate on immigration and integration has become increasingly heated. People are divided into "us" and "them". At Belong, we believe in a society where we meet as people. When people make friends and share knowledge, new opportunities open up, both in the labor market and socially. This is how we create a Sweden where everyone can develop and feel included.

Vision and core values

Imagine what we can achieve when we see the potential of people – regardless of their background.

Confidence

We see each individual based on their ability to grow, contribute and thrive. Everyone has potential, our task is to create spaces where it is given the freedom to grow.

Power to change

We present a future that makes others want to join us. Through courage, determination and action, we make a clear difference.

Community

We believe in the power of the individual, but real change happens when we meet others. Through relationships, networks and belonging, we create a stronger society.

The goal was to give people a chance to make new friends over a coffee, celebrate Swedish holidays together, and get that all-important job search support. And that's exactly how we work today.

In 2020, Invitationsdepartementet and Kompisbyrån merged to become Nya Kompisbyrån. Since then, Nema Problema, Nya Kompisbyrån and Yrkesdörren have started to work together more closely, and in 2025 they will officially move forward under a common, new name: Belong
